As a child in the 80’s I have many fond memories of my first computers. I started with a Timex Sinclair TS1000 then moved on to a VIC-20, Commodore 64, Amiga… then up up and away to the PC world.
Over the years I slowly lost, destroyed or misplaced my collection of Commodore gear and have recently began to replace it. Many flea markets, yard sales and wanted ad’s later I have managed to get together more gear than I had ever owned in the 80’s.
Thus far in my collection are:
(4) 1541 disk drives, one is equipped with JiffyDOS 6.01
(3) Commodore 64’s including a 64C and one with JiffyDOS rom
(2) Datasette Units
(1) 1902A Monitor which needs some hopefully minor repair
(1) 1702A Monitor
…and tons of various original software, hundreds of floppies and a will to recreate my childhood ambition 🙂
